At Henna Cosmetics, we stand behind the purity and quality of every product we sell. We want you to feel confident ordering from us — and that means being transparent about exactly how returns and refunds work.
Our 14-Day Return Window
You may return any unopened, unused product in its original sealed packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price (shipping costs are non-refundable). To start a return, email contact@purahenna.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
What Is — and Isn't — Eligible
Eligible for a refund
- Products in their original, sealed, undamaged packaging
- Returned within 14 days of the delivery date
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase
Not eligible for a refund
- Opened, used, or partially used products — for hygiene and product-safety reasons we cannot accept these back, even if you are dissatisfied with the color result.
- Products returned more than 14 days after delivery
- Products not purchased directly from hennacosmetics.com (orders placed through Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, or eBay must be returned through that marketplace's own return process)
- Free gifts, promotional items, and sale items marked "Final Sale"
- Original shipping charges
A Note on Color Results
Natural henna and indigo are plant-based dyes. The final color depends on your starting hair color, porosity, chemical-treatment history, application time, and oxidation (henna continues to deepen for 24–72 hours after rinsing). Because color is intrinsically variable on each head of hair, we cannot guarantee an identical match to product photos, and unsatisfactory color results alone are not grounds for a refund on opened product.
This is why we strongly recommend reading our First-Time User Guide, our Shade Guide by Base Hair Color, and performing both a strand test and a patch test before doing a full application.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
If your order arrived damaged, defective, or contained the wrong item, please contact us at contact@purahenna.com within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the product and packaging. We will replace the item or issue a full refund at no cost to you.
How to Start a Return
- Email contact@purahenna.com with the subject line "Return Request – Order #[your number]".
- Include your order number, the items you wish to return, and the reason.
- Our team will reply within 1–2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) number and the return shipping address.
- Ship the product back in its original packaging, with the RA number written clearly on the outside of the parcel. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Returns sent without prior authorization will be refused.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund before they ship. Once an order has been handed to the carrier, our standard return policy applies. To request a cancellation, email contact@purahenna.com as soon as possible — we ship quickly, so prompt requests are more likely to succeed.
Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take an additional 3–7 business days to appear on your statement after we process it. We will email you a confirmation once your refund is issued.
International Orders
International customers may return unopened products under the same 14-day window. Customer is responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and any taxes. Original shipping charges, customs fees, and import duties are non-refundable.
