How far does 400g go?

• Long hair, past the shoulders — 1 full application
• Shoulder length — 1 full application plus a root touch-up
• Short to chin length — 2 full applications, or 4–5 root touch-ups
• Very long or very thick hair — 1 application; order 2 if your hair reaches your waist

Mostly or fully gray? Plan on slightly more paste than the guide above — gray has no pigment of its own, so it needs more dye to reach the same depth.

The two-step process

1. Step 1 — the 50g Pure Henna. Mix with warm water to a yogurt-thick paste, apply to clean dry hair, leave 1–2 hours, rinse with water only. No shampoo.
2. Step 2 — the 400g color mix. Mix, apply, leave 1 hour, rinse with water only. Wait 24–48 hours before shampooing so the color can set and deepen.

What to expect

Color deepens over the first 48–72 hours as the henna oxidizes, then holds through washing for roughly 4–6 weeks and fades gradually instead of growing out in a hard line. Gray strands often read one shade brighter for the first few days before settling.
